Clay vs Chlorella for heavy metal detox [message #599] Sun, 16 October 2016 21:21 Go to next message
I'm looking to do a heavy metal detox, and my online research points to using either cilantro with chlorella, or cilantro with bentonite clay. Can anyone offer information to help me decide which to use. I've decided if I go with clay it will be Calcium Bentonite, but I'm not sure if clay is better than chlorealla for eliminating the heavy metals mobilsed by the cilantro and deposited in the colon and small intestines.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

If you well tolerate chlorella (not everyone does), then I would consider using all three: Clay, cilantro, and chlorella. While chlorella does a good job at binding heavy metals from bile (as does clay), it doesn't do anything to actually change the bioterrain of the digestive system, nor does it act as a detoxification catalyst.

Furthermore, I would add fresh garlic into the mix; the polyphenols and sulfur both aid the body in the detoxification process. The polyphenols can correct gene expressions, improving the body's own innate detoxification process.
