Hi all, I was wondering if anyone is using glycine as a substitute for sweetener in drinks?  Is it safe to use daily?  I want to substitute stevia in my coffee/tea.  Thanks

Diet and Nutrition (General) / Iodine
« on: September 24, 2019, 06:54:51 PM »
Hopefully this is the right area to post this...   ;D     I got an article today from Dr. Christianson about iodine.  He talks about taking too little, too much and never buy a vitamin with it. As more supplements are being tested, they either have nothing or too much of what it says on the label.  I was diagnosed with Hashi and Graves a long time ago.  I take desiccated thyroid which supposedly has some iodine in it.  I have tried a few types of iodine over the years... lugols, nascent, etc.  Not sure I noticed any difference but as I get into senior years, wonder if I should amp it up a bit?

Healing with Clay / radiation
« on: June 20, 2019, 02:09:34 PM »
Hi, I have a friend, she's late 70's, had mastectomy for cancer.  Surgery removed "cancer" and lymph nodes, then radiation.  Its now 1 yrs later and she is getting eruptions, deep redness, crusting on the area that was radiated. My instinct says clay to the area to pull out what is creating this issue. Should something else be added to the clay?  After removal of clay, what would be a good lotion type to put on.  Aloe, coconut oil, EO's?  I will try to attach pictures.
